Here is a picture my professor took last year in the art school. Every student had to pose, in turn, as a model, but most of the times It was my turn. I wonder why was that?
So, I made a few drawings during his lessons…
In a few days I’ll be at the Munich Comic Festival to sign the german edition of Don Camillo. If you drop in there, say hello and ask for Penny. I’ll have some pins and cards to sell and I may draw you a fast sketch of our favorite adventurer!
GREAT CONTEST on Facebook!
You can win a full set of Penny’s brand-new pins, as you can see on picture above.
Here is what to do:
1 – Click “Like” on The amazing adventures of Penny Rogers page;
2 – Leave a comment to THIS picture on Facebook, telling what’s your favorite pin (and why is it);
3 – Share the picture on your facebook wall (set as “public”);
Contest will end on May, 22th at 3 PM.
The winner will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date, through random.org
Here is some example of the storyboard I make to build every Penny’s page.
It shows a mix of pencil and digital art, due to the revision work (pencil panels are ther remains of an older version, then integrated in the final sequence).
A full new episode of Penny Rogers is online now on verticalismi.it.
It’s a dreamlike sequence initially thought for the main storyline that I rearranged in a vertical format.
You’ll see it soon here on my blog, but here you can take a look to the italian version (pictures speak for themselves).
Don’t miss to give a chance to the other comics too, it’s really worth it
